Music

I have been involved with music in some way or another since I was about 8 or 9 years old. My first formal music training was piano lessons as a kid, but music is in my genes: I was born into a family of professional musicians who listened to, talked about, and practiced music as their dharma.

Since childhood, I have studied several musical instruments (including the guitar and French Horn), but it wasn’t until the late 1990s when I bought my first pair of Technics 1200 turntables that I started on this leg of my musical journey.

I am currently experimenting with electronic music production under the moniker Dakini9 and run the deep house/techno label Plan B Recordings along with DJ Spider.
